If you love to crochet and pray, this is a ministry that not only brings joy to the person receiving the finished shawl, but to the "giver" who makes the shawl and prays for the person who will be the recipient. There are directions available for different shawls, but no rules as to what kind, what color, etc. All who have been the recipient of a "prayer shawl" can testify as to what a surprise and a blessing it has been to them during a difficult time to receive such a loving gift.
